He met his wife, April, the same year. Pete and April spent 14 years working in Wikwemikong in a variety of capacities including youth ministry, crisis pregnancy, and frontline crisis and mental health. Pete holds undergraduate degrees in Theology and Counseling, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in trauma and addictions. Pete currently works for Health Sciences North in Little Current as a Mobile Crisis Worker to support the local hospital, OPP, and UCCM police.
